Hatta joined the FAAN lab in the summer of 2023 as one of the first-generation students. He then graduated in 2024 with a final research project focused on exploring facile material modification methods to improve the photovoltaic performance of dye-sensitized next-generation solar cells.

Armed with a strong interest and curiosity toward physics as an integral part of multidisciplinary science, he continuously expands his knowledge of physics for wide-range applications by rooting to its core fundamental matters. In particular, his current research interests are centered on photovoltaic materials, and he remains curious about fundamental studies of light-matter interaction for energy generation and understanding the origin of life.

Outside of the lab, Hatta enjoys playing music, being one with nature, and immersing his days in movies and books.
